Thanks for your contribution, Scott Chambers!

GWA and the Board of Directors would like to thank Scott Chambers for his many contributions as former board president of GWA. We wish Scott all the best and would like to send him off with a few well wishes from current board members.

As co-founder of Pacific Workplaces (Pac:), and with over twenty years of experience in the industry, Scott’s ability to master the organization’s operational efficiencies as well as the deployment of rapid changing technology, has been instrumental in facilitating the explosive growth of Pacific Workplaces (Pac:). As the industry has experienced significant changes in the last few years with mobility, flexibility and the desire for more community-based environments, Scott has brought about evolving and modifying facility designs and staffing needs. Scott currently serves as Past-President of the Global Workspace Association, the international trade association of the Workspace-as-a-Service industry, which includes serviced offices, coworking, hotels, and maker spaces, to name a few. Scott has a B.S. in Business Administration from The University of the Pacific.

I would like to thank Scott for his dedication and significant contribution to the continued success of the GWA. As President of the association, Scott charted the way for structural change which was needed to serve our growing membership. He set the GWA on a path to success. I took over as President and was the beneficiary of Scott’s work while he was in the role. It has been a pleasure serving with him. To me, Scott is a visionary, a great operator, a mentor, and a friend. He has always had time for me and for that I am very grateful. Thank you, Scott, for all you have done for us at the GWA.

- Kane Wilmott, GWA Board President, iQ Office Suites, Inc.

What I love about Scott is when we engaged in strategic discussions, his reflections cause a pause and a look at different perspectives than may be at the table. He is so genuinely committed to GWA! I am going to miss him.

- Mara Hauser, GWA Board Director, 25N Coworking

Words cannot describe the contributions that Scott Chambers has made to the GWA and to the industry. His passion, commitment and contribution of time truly helped take the GWA through tough times and positioned us as a much stronger organization. I am proud to have served on the Board with Scott and appreciate his strategic leadership. Scott will be missed as a Board member, but we know he will always be there to support the GWA and the industry. Thanks Scott!

- William Edmundson, GWA Board Treasurer, Office Evolution

What I love about Scott is the great conversations we’ve had at the back of the room at GWA conference sessions – I love hearing his perspective.
