Position: Content Marketing Manager

Job Description

GWA is hiring an enthusiastic email and social media pro that’s in tune with the workings of the flex office industry. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, you are a coach that can see the broad picture and you’re a player, jumping in to execute your owned initiatives as a part of our entrepreneurial team. You have a team-player mindset but able to work independently with minimal direction.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Email creation and execution to drive awareness and revenue (including but not limited to weekly newsletter, weekly event promotion, event recaps, etc)
  • Social media content creation and execution (including but not limited to member highlights, event promotion, event recaps, etc)
  • Support the sales team on sponsorship sales with collateral, etc.

  • List-building 

  • Membership offer (value prop) optimization

  • Creating & optimizing automated membership sales funnel

  • Creating & optimizing automated event sales and attendee funnels

Experience and Requirements

  • Education or job experience in communications, marketing, advertising, graphic design, or related field required

  • Current or recent flex office industry role preferred

  • 2-3 years in a content manager or related role

  • Demonstrate professional passion/development outside of 9-5

  • Must be a high-performer

  • Must appreciate the big picture but be dedicated to the details and timelines

  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in marketing tools such as Canva, Facebook Ads, Hubspot

  • Strong project management skills (must be familiar with tool such as Asana)

  • Experience using CMS such as WordPress

  • Location flexibility – U.S. preference for time-zone management with the rest of the team

Job Type: Contract, 15-20hrs a week
