Is Your Educational Programming Falling Short?
Wednesday - January 23, 2019 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Your coworking space is more than just an office. It's a place where members feel engaged, connected, and a sense of community. Simultaneously, it's a space where you can create educational programs that increase member retention because after all, that's what you want, right? If live events are a part of your educational programming strategy, you probably understand how they positively impact retention. Your events can deepen member affinity, keeping them returning for more than just a place to work. But how can you achieve this? How do you increase member value through quality educational programming?

In this live virtual training held on Wednesday, January 23rd at 11 am PST/ 2 pm EST, Cassi Niekamp with Cultivate Advisors will dive deep into how to drive high-quality educational programming within your four walls to foster member engagement, attract great speakers, and ultimately increase member acquisition through community engagement.

Owning Versus Renting Your Space
July 25, 2018 @ 11:00 am - 12:15 pm

This Coworking Council Session is about Real Estate finance for coworking space operators—the economics and process of buying a building for your coworking space.

Curious about:
- The economics of owning a building and operating a coworking space in it?
- The process for buying a building (from 6,000 square feet to 60,000 square feet)
- Lender lingo?

Josh Fine, attorney, and owner of Enterprise Coworking (and the building it's in), will walk us through the acquisition process and his own ownership story.

Hasan Mirjan, owner of Spherepad Coworking (and Spheremail!) will also share his experience financing a building using a SBA loan and operating a coworking space in that building.

David Orr, co-founder of Tahoe Mountain Lab who also serves as the sales and business development officer, will guide us through his experience buying a building in South Lake Tahoe and starting a coworking space that runs in the building.
