CapeSpace led by Robbin Orbison has joined GWA as a member. CapeSpace held a groundbreaking ceremony on November 3 and expects to complete construction and open for business in April of 2016.
Four departing board members were honored for their service to the Association by GWA President Scott Chambers, during a luncheon at the Association’s 29th Annual Conference: Nick Logothetis of Symphony Workplaces; William Edmundson, formerly of Abby Office Centers; Angie O’Grady, formerly of Carr Workplaces; and Carlos Goncalves of Avila Business Centers.
GWA’s 29th Annual Education Conference, held October 21-24th at the Westin Denver Downtown was given high reviews by the 220 attendees – 66 of whom were first-timers – as did the fifteen exhibitors who experienced strong traffic, leads and sales on the exhibit floor. The Education Sessions all received positive reviews from members, including many who felt it was one of the Association’s best conferences ever held.
The Global Workspace Association held an election of the general membership as mandated by the Association’s Bylaws. William Edmundson, Secretary, announced the winners during the Association’s Annual Business Meeting, held on October 21st. Layton Dodson of The Office Quarters was elected by the membership to serve as the Association’s Treasurer. Benjamin Dyett of Grind was elected to an At-Large seat on the Board.
