Four Departing Board Members Honored for Tremendous Work

GWA honors departing board members

Four departing board members were honored for their service to the Association by GWA President Scott Chambers, during a luncheon at the Association’s 29th Annual Conference: Nick Logothetis of Symphony Workplaces; William Edmundson, formerly of Abby Office Centers; Angie O’Grady, formerly of Carr Workplaces; and Carlos Goncalves of Avila Business Centers.

“Nick Logothetis was elected to the board two years ago as our Treasurer and for the past year he has served with distinction in that capacity. Nick improved our internal books and financial reporting by updating the budgeting model to more closely monitor month by month progress and comparison”, said Chambers.

“William Edmundson served as Secretary of the Association and was a key member of the FraudWatch Committee helping to educate our members to various practices to prevent Virtual Office fraud.”

“Angie O’Grady served as this year’s Conference co-Chair, and what a job she did. Angie developed, initiated and executed beautifully as demonstrated by this year’s conference,” said Chambers.

Carlos Goncalves served as GWA’s International Board Director. During his term, Carlos networked and lobbied for GWA membership in Europe and pushed to hold a GWA event in Europe.
