The Reviews Are In for GWA’s 29th Annual Education Conference

GWA’s 29th Annual Education Conference, held October 21-24th at the Westin Denver Downtown was given high reviews by the 220 attendees – 66 of whom were first-timers – as did the fifteen exhibitors who experienced strong traffic, leads and sales on the exhibit floor. The Education Sessions all received positive reviews from members, including many who felt it was one of the Association’s best conferences ever held.

Several New Members Join GWA Board

The Global Workspace Association held an election of the general membership as mandated by the Association’s Bylaws. William Edmundson, Secretary, announced the winners during the Association’s Annual Business Meeting, held on October 21st. Layton Dodson of The Office Quarters was elected by the membership to serve as the Association’s Treasurer. Benjamin Dyett of Grind was elected to an At-Large seat on the Board.

Premier Business Centers Launches ‘Premier Concierge Service’

GWA Member Premier Business Centers has launched ‘Premier Concierge Service’. The service will provide Premier’s clients with a variety of monthly plans providing access to concierge services.

New Committee Chairs Announced

GWA President Scott Chambers has announced Committee Chairs for the next year. “GWA’s Members help shape the association’s direction by participating on our standing committees,” said Chambers.

Metro Offices Wins GWA’s 2015 ‘Space Innovator’ Award

Washington, D.C.-based Metro Offices garnered GWA’s 2015 Space Innovator Award, besting four other worthy competitors – Orega, WorkHouse, IOS OFFICES, and Avanta. Kathlene Buchanan, Metro’s Founder and President, accepted the award on behalf of Metro Offices.

LiquidSpace Offers Monthly Rentals and New Lease Agreement

GWA Member LiquidSpace has launched a monthly serviced space rental offering to its clients. LiquidSpace previously focused on providing meeting room and day office services to its client base.

GWA Silent Auction Raises $3,000

GWA’s Annual Silent Auction, held at the Association’s 29th Annual Conference, raised $3,000 for GWA this year. GWA thanks the companies who contributed the excellent and exciting prizes that led to the successful auction.

GWA Announces 2016 Officers

Scott Chambers, Layton Dodson, Annette Reizburg and Nathan Jansch will serve as GWA’s 2016 Officers. Scott Chambers will serve as GWA’s President for a second year in a row.

Grind Partners with Verizon on New Coworking Space

GWA Member Grind has announced an initiative designed to connect with New York City's tech community by opening a coworking space at Verizon’s landmark building at 140 West Street in lower Manhattan, across from One World Trade Center.
