WHY I WOULD LIKE TO BE A MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS and/or MY VISION FOR OBCAI: The current market environment requires SMEs and large corporations to re-think the current Logic of Real Estate. We’re all seeing a significant shift in workplace patterns as large companies are seeking solutions to slash fixed costs and to support a growing distributed and mobile workforce. At the same time an entrepreneurial movement brought about by the market downturn is bringing a growing number of home based workers and SMEs into the marketplace who are seeking viable, cost-effective solutions for their office needs. I am proud of the progress that we as a board and as an organization made this year. And, I look forward to seizing this momentum and to be an active participant as our industry continues to break through with the New Logic of Real Estate. Now more than ever our collaborative voices as OBC members are resonating with business decision-makers, influencers and users as they learn to leverage flexible workspace solutions to reduce costs, shift fixed costs to variable and deliver an environment that enhances productivity. I look forward to the prospect of continuing my role as OBCAI Board Member and absolutely commit to doing my part, along with my colleagues, to seize upon the momentum that we achieved to drive awareness for this category and the value that it provides to business. Our goal: To build a powerful value proposition that ensures OBCs are a part of the strategic portfolio planning for large corporations and a first choice for home based offices and SMEs. |
