GWA's Members help shape the association's direction by participating on our standing committees. Members are appointed to the committee by the committee Chair. Outreach Committee
Responsible for both Internal Marketing (membership recruitment and retention) and External Marketing (Public Relations)

Education Committee
The committee is responsible for the planning both the annual conference sessions and the Association's Webinar Program.

Conference Host Committee
The Committee is responsible for planning social events for the annual conference.

Local Member Network Committee
Responsible for coordinating LMN activity with GWA.

Finance & Audit Committee
The Committee oversees the association's General Accounting, proposes the annual Budget to the Board of Directors and is responsible for all internal audits.

Nominating Committee
The Committee is responsible for ensuring the requisite number of quality candidates for the annual Board of Directors election.

Bylaws Task Force
Responsible for consistency in Bylaws; setting new Membership Levels and other governance issues related to the transition of OBCAI to GWA.

Virtual Office Task Force
Will develop guidelines or certification for virtual office products or handling of VO services. Will encourage members to follow CMRA Guidelines.
